Looking for a good mark for the weekend any suggestions???

Hello all,fished Tynemouth beach on saturday caught 1 codling under a pound.Enjoyed it all the same i am looking to venture further a field this weekend did fancy the West coast,but i havn\'t quite decided.Any of you know any marks further up our coast that a could try or any marks around the West Coast that are catching at the minute?Your suggestions would be much appreciated.

why not try seaham pier it has been throwing up a few fish including bass and last week someone caught a 3lb pollack,also the usual 1 to 2 lb codling and as many whiting as you can carry....im gonna fish ity on Friday night anyone wishing to join me is more than welcome..

Colvend is a good beach to fish from but I dont know how its doing at the minute.

If there\"s anywhere fishing at the moment its got to be Balcary either the point or the flat rock.

Cheers for the suggestions im undecided as to where to fish to be honest have been researching Cresswell as i\'ve heard its fishing well at the minute,as long as i catch some fish i don\'t mind where i fish.Rod im sorry i havn\'t a clue what your talking about Screwfix as in the tool company????????Although i did work in that industry for a while.

Filey Brigg is fishing at the moment with some good size fish there is reported that two fish caught at weekend weighed 16lb and 13lb respectively, report comes from a good source also plenty of whiting and occasional pollack
