low rider rings

I saw these for the first time recently.
I'm no expert on this stuff, but I cant see what difference it would make really...its probably something else that's come over from the continent.

Would be interesting to get one of the rod builder's opinions on here

They have been around for quite a few years now, nothing New certainly as long as KWAG tangle free guides and everyone knows them now.I guess you could say they come from abroad as a Fuji designed ring from Japan,it's kind of somewhere over there.Loads of information and videos on why and how their designed to work on the internet.
Look for Especially, the concept and design promotional one on them, made by Fuji themselves.
As they are very small rings and internal inserts, they tend to be more suited to lightline low diameters and tapered leaders, and they are definately hard work with any weed about.

Have you bought a rod with them on or thinking of doing so.
Send me your mob numb if you wish in a pm and I can explain a bit about the rings.

Thanks John

I was thinking of swapping my t900 for a conti rod. But could be swapping for a t1000 instead.

Thanks for the info.

I used to use my m427 hi flex with the first ring been a low Ryder the other rings on tip were normal rings, when using f spool with braid it was no prob even as good if not better than the kwags everyone or most go on about.most normal rung rod can be used with no problem with f spools provided a braid leader is used.crack offs occur or ring wrap when using fine braid the likes of Berkeley whiplash 20lb b/s.I have no probs at all with thicker braid with most normal rung rods.

Thanks John

If you use thin braid even on the continental rod with just say a standard overhead thump it won't take long for you to get a ring wrap.I have found the likes of 30lb power pro good no crack offs and is very strong.

Thanks for that John.
