Bottom of Target Rock or the Bottom of the north arm. The Big Beach at Shields, the black path, theres loads mate. if you click on the link at the bottom you can have a look on my maps if your unsure where any of those marks are.

Where exactly on the big beach, it allways looks like a 200 yard stretch of water about six inches deep every time I have a look.

lol, i'd fish in front of the life guard station on a low mate, i find theres less tidal drag there. if theres not alot of movement in the water you might be better of in the river, or on the pier
