Lucky Yuki cod rod does it again

Was out again last night with Yuki rod had nine fish for 32lb best was9.35lb one 7.39lb and one 4lb.65 a couple of the fish I would not normally take but they were deep hooked

I've got the same scales. when they are on 'lb' mode they only go up to say 5.9lb, then they go to 6lb. whereas i think they should go to 5.15lb then 6lb.
So if yours are the same your fish will be heavier. As a 5.5lb fish on my scales will really be 5.8lb (5 and a half) :confused:

I was using some proper spring fishing scales but they packed in had to get the batteries out of the tv remote for these scales

Looks like the scales are giving you a decimal readout. :eek:

So every .1 should be one tenth of a pound (or 1.6 ounces if you like)
The reading of 5.9 should be a weight of 5lb 14.4oz (9x1.6)
