what kind do you get from ID. I have heard lots about yellow tails and blacks whats the difference between those and id s also where can yo buy it.

well the difference is yellas have a lot of water and cent in it blacks are just massive lug that have beengutted an frozen down divnt bother wif yellas youll never get them at the min like lol

the lug you'll get from ID will be blow lug, i always thought yellow tails and black lug were the same thing, when you hook up a yellow tail there heads burst and they go very ridged on the hook, then you've got your frozen blacks aka runnydown, that are black lug gutted and frozen (correct me if i'm wrong).

I've always thought that they're the same worm.

blacks, yellowtails and blow lug are sub species of the same type of worm, blacks seem to be the hardier of the lot imho, they can be tanked quite easily(up to a month) if the water is kept clean and very cold (about 3c in my tank) yellas seem to blow quicker than the blacks, where as blow lug only last 7 - 10 days if i am lucky, all dont last that long if there are cod about cos they get used....... but lately my worms have been lasting longer as fishing has been crap....and any yellas or blacks which do start to blow i remove from tank and gut then freeze down...so i have a supply of runnydown for later use..
