Lumpy

Went out for an hour yesterday, fished the rough ground at whitburn, 2 cod one about 5lb the other a pound and a half, see started to get a bit lumpy so we headed back in about 2pm we just got between the piers when I was looking at the sonar and a big cloud of mackerel appeared so we stopped an yanked about 8 into the boat before going back in, there was loads of sprat showing on the sonar in the bay as well.

Well done you had a productive hour at a time when the fishing is pretty lean. Better safe than sorry making the call to come back in.

TBH I was starting to get bounced off everything on the boat and didn't fancy coming back like I'd been sparring with David Haye
