28g Zenith silver spinner is my fav up there mate, but i'm moving more into jellies this year. Redgills are very popular for pollock.

Aye I've seen them jellies before, do you just put 1 on or a few ? there only small aren't they , I'm g0onna get some I like the look of them.

cheers mate.

will certainly do so. hopefully with some good photos. just read through the link some good info in there. i've never been spinning properly before so really looking forward to it. I've just ordered some jellies, spinners and feathers off ebay. gonna be well stocked up. Other than piers i'm pretty unsure of any spinning marks in the north east, could you spin at the likes of hartley, cullercoats and st mary's? when is a good time to start, does it have to be spring . getting a bit eager to get out. do you think its too early for eyemouth now????

I'll be starting the 25th March, it tends to get better the warmer it gets. The marks you mentioned should be ok, Dunstinbough castle is my favourite mark closely followed by Beadnell. Whitley Pipe is worth a shot as well.

if you want t get out now try some pike fishing av had some fun with jelly worms last few weeks targeting small jack pike on a local club lake
