Okay so me and a friend have been to lynemouth beach twice in the past
Week and blanked both times !!

Fishing south of the pipe off the rocks first and then the beach

Well we're going back tonight same place armed with rag and fresh crab
If we don't catch a sausage between us again then lynemouth we may part ways! Haha

High tide is half six about so fishing it down

Was there yesterday m8 for top water I codling that was it but don't give up had some good winter nights on the southside sea gan be up tonight so I hear we were right down near the cliffs towards the beacons

Flat calm and in daylight with clear water is about only time distance castng is required at lynemouth,in darkness and with some movement or on a dying sea if you can avoid the weed, good numbers of fish can and do move in close as 30 yards out.Including fish into double figures.

Aye, looking at the sea at Tynemouth Longsands beach I wouldn't fancy it tonight. Even if you can hold bottom there's good chance you'll end up weeded out

Hadn't checked the webcams, definatly looks too big and as you say could be weeded up.

Only really get decent fish from there at distance Harry barker and blanchie do well up there for that reason

Just a myth, loads of fish are caught close in off lynemouth, have heard of people fishing there 40lb line straight through. Its a steep sloping beach and a 30yard chuck would put you in a decent depth of water.

when i used to go up i prefer north of the pipe on the flood right the way along to were the gypsy site is . south of the pipe used to be good on a dying south easterly sea ebb tide.

so i went down and ive never seen a sea like it ! saw two other lads consider it stand there for 5mins then finally walk away
