Had a few hours down here tonight, bait & spinning ! nothing doing at all, just a few well undersized flatties & a few sandeel to the spinner, there was two lads fishing the beach don't know if they had any luck, I was fishing to the left hand side of the old hot water pipe, there was quite a few fishing the beacons, sea was flat, nothing to show fow it, yet I WAS OUT THERE GIVING IT A GO.

Good to get out anyway mate. I don't mind if I blank, I love being out there with nature, under the starlight, hearing the crashing of ocean and screaming gulls and the generally great atmosphere. Better than staying home drinking Special Brew and watching Big Brother like my mate does
I must say I have enjoyed a few good vodka's since I got home, but being by the sea is a class of it's own, im going out early 2morrow to use some bait up, let's see what happens.Good to get out anyway mate. well done mate not that badalso if theres sandeels prob chance of bigger stuff if you keep at it
nothing any bigger at the moment, im going to give the north pier or blyth pier a blast at first light, going to use up some bait also going to do a bit spinning ! better luck I hope !!
