line in water 12.45 only one bite all day till i lsft the beach at 4.45 cos i ran outta bait used about 50 yellowtail lug 15 peeler a packet of mussel and 2 razor caught a bass which was way undersize about a pound sea was flat calm a few other people down but i nevere saw anything pulled in i was fishing to the right of the pipe as u look out to sea still had a great day and ill be out trying again tommorow somewhere havnt decided where yet but ill be trying me best oh and i pulled in two lines probably crack offs so ive got 2 rigs and two cracking sinkers belonging to someone if anone wants to claim them back lol

Nice report mate lot of bait for 1 fish should of tried fishing straight off the front of the pipe for the silver was it caught on peeler all mine have up there.

caught the fish on a cocktail of peeler mussel and razor, had some canny concocsions goin, there was a guy fishing off the pipe whe i got there but he left after a few hours,must have had 40 casts, only leaving out for 10 mins max because the crabs were playing, once the tide was up the crabs seemed to nick off

I was that guy, got there about 9.30am fished til 2pm used fresh dug rag, frozen lug and mussel straight oot the shell even the crabs weren't bothering early on, not a single bite, but it's better than work especially on a day like today.

shame that mate could have fished and had some craic with you, your right about the weather we need some hard frost and northerlies me thinks

ive always found fresh crab to be the best bait off there until the seas start getting away.

I normally wander up the beach to have a natter with me neighbour but you were just a little dot in the distance, fresh crab is the best on that mark as you say bigpaul.
