Four of us fished Lynemouth Saturday night a few hours either side of high tide. Weather was rough with a strong wind starting south easterly then moving more south westerly.

Within the first hour or so Mark had a cod of six pounds and one of the other lads has a small un about 1 and a half that was safely returned. Me and the other lad blanked of course.:(

Bait used was Lug, Razor and Squid.

Next day me and Mark went down Cullercoats in the afternoon for a few hours at low tide. We hadn't fished there before and fancied trying it in daylight to work it out a bit. Wasn't expecting much as conditions wern't ideal and I was right. Mark of course managed a little coalie, I blanked again.

Still it was nice little session and we have an idea what to try there for a night session. Met a fella down there and had a bit of crack, says he reads this board a bit so if you reading this, nice to meet you mate. Will probably get out later this week and hopefully put an end to this canny long blanking run I'm having.:D

cheers for the report mate, cullercoats has been weak lately, day and night, try the whitley pipe, its canny during the day when its flatter than you'd like,

how many blanks?
