Fished the above 5 til 9 not even a touch. Fed the crabs all night. Used crab, blow, mussel and blacks. I knew wouldn't be much with the sea flat as a f**t but last week at least pulled a couple out. Beach was busy when I arrived and when I left. Anybody else on here do anything? Didn't see much happening up and down the beach. John

i was up there thursday and friday. from about 8pm to 2am both nights. blanked thurs and only one codling friday about 2lb. big swells thurs but flat on friday despite forecast of 4ft swells. only been fishing since feb but have enjoyed some good sessions up there.

I was there last night aswell John fished from 15.30 till 21.30 not a bite all night (sick as) only heard of one small whitey being caught all night, was cracking on with some lads from billingham, felt a bit sorry for them having to travel all the way back to teeside after a sh*te nights fishing, was it you that was telling me about the seal when you first come onto the beach john? nice to meet you if it was, cheers mick.

I was just up the road at amble, didn't look to good with the sea totally flat, ended up on a skeer and managed 6 out all the same stamp 1lb and half. I was thinking of lynmouth aswell.

aye, i'll be out this weekend John,regardless of what the seas like mate, ive promised my 12yr old daughter ill take her out. I was thinking of blyth pier or the astley arms but theirs a good chance we'll end up at lynemouth cos like you say its due a big cod, so I might see you Saturday John if not good luck mate, mick.
