Lynemouth Sunday night 2nd Dec

Fished Lynemouth beach on sunday night and caught 4 codling and a bass. The biggest was 4lb 4ozs and the smallest 2lb 2ozs. Baits used were lugworm, frozen crab and mussel. All fish were caught on lugworm. When gutted the fish had a mixture of shrimp, small white fish and small eater crab in them. The bass was returned.

I have recently started to fish this area with some guidance from Brian Jackson and it's a cracking fishing venue when the sea is running. It was a great nights fishing.

My mates Brian Jackson and Steve Maw also had a couple of codling out.

good nights fishing. I was fishing the private beach on sunday night and like j the kipper had no fish- plenty of seaweed mind
