Fished the above tonight 5-8pm. Not too bad a sea but wind and rain spoiled a little. Never the less first session for a few weeks so nice to be out. Fished usual spot 150 yards south of pipe. First cast resulted in a flounder which fell to fresh blacks. Nothing until my last cast at 8pm which resulted in another flounder this time taking ragworm. Not the cod bashing session I hoped for but saved the blank!! Will be back next weekend!

well done on the 2 john, unlucky on that big cod you keep looking for though, still time yet though mate! thought about lynemouth myself tonight but had to drop the grandbairn off owa Gateshead so thought id just nip down the tyne (hebburn marina) well as the song goes "blank on the tyne is all mine all mine, blank on the tyne is all mine!!!" wish I had went to lynemouth now! all the best. mick

Well done on getting a couple out, pity no cod though; I was thinking about going up to lynemouth aswell this afternoon but just went on ssp instead ( blanked there:( and didn't see anyone else catching).

First time been up there for a few weeks. Not sure how it's been fishing recently. One lad who I spoke to said he blanked last weekend but fished during the day. Big change to the beach after the surge two weeks ago. I'll be back for another bash next weekend. Still seeking the monster Mick!!
