heard good reports of mackeral being caught in recent days so i decided to give blyth a blast the morrow but have just read a report nothing being caught but as still going to go any 1 been last couple of days and if so is any being caught
Fished shields the day mate and didn't see 1 mac pulled up. I was only fishing the 42 like but all I heard of coming off the end was coalie. A lad going on and when passing asked me and me mate if we had a spare carrier bag like yer kna because he'd forgotton his. Couldn't oblige, even if we could it would have only come back with coalie in like yer knar

lets guess, you are too knackared after lugging that huge rod rest the whole lenght of the pier today? and in this heat too!!!
a rod rest on a pier i just carnt get round it
funny you should say that, but a far more knowledgeable angler than myself once gave me a really good tip about just using the rod rest "head" section to save from carrying the whole rest.
