Well it's be 5 weeks since our last venture, so with a weekend off from other things we had a look out. Four of us were met with this when heading down towards the piers

We cleared the piers for 6am a hour later than planned. Messed about pier end for some herring managed about twenty or so. Hoping that it would be the killer big fish bait!

The bigguns weren't playing out best fish of the day about 12lb ling, here's Dan with a couple of his ling

And a couple of his cod

We had a lot of ling mainly small under (6lb returned) we did manage a few better ones, however no biggun which was the target.

The cod tally for the day 15 biggest about 6lb

Bit of a late report just keeping yous up to date hopefully get out Again this weekend, until then tight lines chaps.
