hi just watched a dvd of fishing at norway theres a guy caught a mackeral i was a bit suprised never new they went that far up.i think its because we think mackeral is a warm water fish

Mate yes they get loads of mackeral in norway and most of the time they are big mackeral me mate is going over there in July, he also said you fish for them on the fly with a good sinking line and you catch big coalies there, the mackeral are in Norway because there are dense shoals of bait fish herring, sprats etc.
Also whilst you are fly fishing you put a big rod out for Cod, haddock, wolfish,pollack,torsk etc but the fishing is unreal over there compared to back here a double figure fish is like catching a billet over there lol.:) :) :) Icleand and Norway seems somewhat like a new sea fishing world altogether.:)

hi one of my mates is going back over in summer also he is from seaham harbour but never knew of the mackeral
