Blyth pier, it's wick with macky now! they love nowt better than chocolate coloured water with a good swell

you are right there mate, can't beat a rough sea the colour of oxtail soup for a good sesh spinning for mackerel, even better try float fishing for them in these conditions, garanteed to bag up all day long

Yer if you can cast about 6 miles we had them that far out, you will need a 2 mile cast to get into clean water.....in short 2 more weeks from the shore maybe more if that sea dont settle down

When I was on ss pier on Monday 2 chavs came along asking are the macks in mate I said I don't really fish for for Mackerel mate just for the odd bit bait they give give a disgusted look & as they were walking away I could just hear the Chavez chat ( I funny f***a him like)

chUbbster, I was fishing blyth pier again tonight, one mackerel caught on the bend, quite a few launce and small coalies also getting caught on the spinner. A little bit of sport before they arrive properly anyway. Nice to meet you the other night.
