Still very few on the boat, had 13 ib 3 trips and yes we have fished for them a cany bit..Seems to be the odd few but not the big shoals yet.

yes get to shields pier and dont forget your slabs of lager n cheap cider heavy duty bin bags to to carry all the fish that your just going to dump, and dont forget ya ghetto blaster

I think Roker pier is best or Seaham, never catch mackerel on Shields pointless going all summer...think everyone should just got to Roker....be nice to not be cast over one day or dodge flying leads when heading back in the middle of the river on the boat this year

well of to blyth pier for a few hrs never know a may not blank lol hope to get my first taste of mackeral of the summer but by all recent reports probably not but you never know until you try all let you all know if anys about
