i was out monday for few hours jst over hi water not a thing m8,pleanty sand eels and sprats jst no mackerel again.apparently there were a few last nite off of blyth.

I've been there 3 times in the last week and although not spun myself there has been people fishing for mackeral but I've not seen any caught. Again there's loads of sprats so not far away

Seen lots of people on push bikes with rods heading for the peir.
So something must be happening

fished blyth pier saturday . hard work for no fish plenty of sprat and sand eels just no mackerel only seen 1 caught all morning on a spinner.think i,ll try southsheilds next week

my uncle was on today.at 4am had i few hours he said got about 8 macky on spinners and his son got a few,about 5am was starting to fill up when he was leaving said pier was full

there was a few on when we got there about 7 am but with nothing been caught it died off with only about a dozen anglers left by 12 o clock

better off fishing Blyth pier the last few hours before dark or first light saves you hanging around all day

fished blyth pier for 3hr this morning got 1 sand eel some lads got some maccy at 4.30am ish after that dead !!ther was a big porpoise tho
