Mackerel

Had a walk down to Horden beach with the family and took my spinning rod for a few casts. Was only out for a an hour or so and got 4 mackerel. Lost another 3 or 4 too. Great fun on a light rod and they're in the freezer ready for winter bait.

It appears the mackerel are in on the northeast coast again as my lad had twelve from the Pilot and said one bloke walked off with an asda bag for life overflowing with them !!
Get out and bag up while you can guys...and girls

More than likely mate. Knew there was fish there, we could see the sprats being driven up to the surface and the terns taking the leftovers.

we seen 2 guys on the lighthouse corner getting them, there where all over the place..
