Fished blyth pier yesterday morning. I got one spinning saw 5 caught. 10 rods on at 6 am by 7.30 only 4. On the plus side blyth harbour are doing some repairs to the pier

the only repair's ive seen were pieces of plywood covering gap's, only a few year ago a russian buissines man offered to buy the pier's, dismantle them, take the green timber away and build concrete pier's. the port said no, what a joke.

There's 4 or 5 new timbers fitted leading up to the bend not sure about after it
