Was asked a question tonight and I havn\'t a clue. What is the difference between a 525 Mag and a 525 Super Mag.
Didn\'t even know there was Super Mag.

didn\'t know there was either. I know there\'s the 525 mag slidy and knobby. The slidy is the fishing one and the knobby is easier for casters to use to control the speed of the reel. I believe there are slight differences to the guts of them also. One of the casting lads might be able to help.
