Picked a couple of reels up for my mate today and took them down to see Ian Lawson, cracking job that good tempted to keep them myself lol his mag unit is brilliant as you get 6 full turns to get of the mag before it's fully off, even my Macey magged one only gets 5.

They look nice mate, I just got 2 fathom 12s magged at blackdog tackle and they way he mags them you keep the ratchet.

Yea that's all it's there for mate makes everything his self except magnet and spring.

Just about to say that they are different so that explains. who wants a mass production unit though if year getting an extra torn

I have just got a Penn TRQ15 magged by Chris Macey, it is brilliant, it small and looks part of the reel and clicker/ratchet is not effected.
Does not stick out as much as Rutherfords, PMR and blakdog units.
It only took 4 days from despatch to return.
I will put photo on when get a minute.

I know but if mag is not through the ratchet it digs into ya arm when reeling in.
