just got bk from the pier 3 maky got cort while a was ther all on day lights a was usin a spinner whel tried any way to windy lost 2 so a think al get some day lights t morrow and tri agen

Myself & my mate also give the pier a shot this morning, we got set up on the pier at 5.00am, there was only one other fisherman on the pier at that time, just past the bend, we fished the end trying both the spinners & daylights, nothing showing any intrest, we packed up for 6.30am on leaving the pier there was one extra fisherman chatting to the lad on the bend & two youngings on there way on to the pier on there bikes, there was also three on mark X, they also looked as though nothing doing, the sea had to much colour in it, wind was more than expected, (but as the saying goes, if you are not fishing, then you are not trying !).

I had a look down the pier today about 12.30, still nothing doing, they must be due in in heavy numbers some ?

was down this mornin just sandeels a was lookin forward to catchin me first mackerel off the shore this year, well no luck but hopfully soon
