so what is it ??? i dont get out much you see

Mate, know how electric toothbrushes work? Well it's similar but without the teeth - it's a tenderiser for the sensitive area's. Just switch on, part the lips and massage the sensitive area's using this.

Apparantly they're more commonly used by women, but some guys like them if they have a persuasion to 70's/80's Disco music.

Being something of a self confessed 'anorack' when it comes to identifying all types of marine species I have now identified it. It is in fact a blond stimray (latin name.......vibratus stimulatis) These little critters are often washed up after storms. Apparently they are very popular with women who keep them as pets (and some blokes...apparently) They sometimes grow to quite large proportions and are mainly nocternal, seeking out dark tight creviices, and can live out of water for a while; as long as they have a damp moist crevice to 'hide in'.
Not all of the species are white. The largest ones are often jet black in colour. The peculiar characteristic of them is they vibrate slightly when the have found a comfortable habitat. Scientists think they can create their own electrical current to make this happen. Alas their lifespan is quite short, and when they die, they are sometimes thrown away by their pet owners..........hence they sometimes get washed up on the shore.
Well I hope this has clarified the identity of this very fishy smelling character.

Dont know if you can get an exact replacement butt plug off Shakespeare, but I lost the one from my Salt MX beach rod and I got a nice chunky rubber one from Veals for about £1.50 Much better than the original ones that come with the rod. They do 1" and a 7/8" diameter versions."

I hope you kept it to give back to bigLoada!!!!!!.

lmbo, i remember catching a codling a few years back from the pier, when i gutted it, it had a battery inside of its belly.

now that explains everything!

true story

Interestingly, auld Derek from the tackle shop was walking the dog just north of this mark the other morning & the dog grabbed a 4lb codling from the surf!! Best fish I've heard of from around there for a while!!!

Gary :)

Wouldn't mind a nice bream if I could find one (well tasty!) - used to see loads washed up but haven't seen one yet this year although I've heard of a few getting beached still alive recently.

Derek's dog, well used to a bit of hunting, grabbed the fish in the waves & when he called the dog back to see what the commotion was about it had a 4 pounder hanging in it's gob. Would love to have seen that happen in a comp! "Heaviest fish goes to..........:D:D"

Gary :)

i know a certain person who fishing in the salmon club, not suposed to have dogs with you on the river bank.
his gun dog would wonder around if he had it with him, i saw it collect 2 salmon from the fast water.
