Marsden 18 Oct

Just a short session in daylight an hour each side of what passed for a high tide. Had planned to fish NRE but it was packed out so dropped into 2nd Bay. Just the one positive bite on crab and blacks and a small codling. Just can't seem to get past this size fish at the moment.

Well done mate, at least ya getting out and not blanking, i will add you on Facebook chat it's mark Robson mate

Guys,
Can I ask?
When you fish off the cliffs, do you literally just stand at the top? Or climb part way down?
Ive never even contemplated doing anything like this, so thought I'd ask the question? It's a long war from top to bottom up marsden way!
Regards
Steven.

Fish off the top mate, it is a long way so don't do it if you don't feel comfortable about it.

Interesting Topic,
I have looked at Marsden on one of my expeditions.
Does the water come up to cliff face on anything other than really high tides ?
Is there enough water, or do you have to punch your gear out a fair way ?
Do you use drop nets ?

Mel....;)
