just had 3 hours on the cliffs in near perfect conditions,never had a bite.baits used fresh and frozen crab - whites - blacks - mussel - squid - clams

CODONLY, I tried the main beach last night 8pm-8.45pm and got nowt. Moved to boaties and thought the sea was too big to even try so moved along to Frenchies point for 2hrs into a good swell (Just managed to grab hold of my rod as it was sliding up the rest towards target rock). Guess what, I blanked. Must be that high pressure........lol........used frozen crab,mussel,razor and frozen blacks. Bait coming back untouched.

Just back from fishing the Gun pits at Whitburn - conditions where more than perfect - not a sniff - me along with 5 others spread across the cliff mark got nowt - i lost a canny bit gear ,which came as a suprise as i have never lost owt on this mark - so i suspect the Dahns are out again - out again tomorrow ,fingers crossed

strange thing about the mark i fished tonight bri is that its usually very snaggy.never lost a thing
