marsden last night tide half out

I had never heard of it until it was featured in sea angler earlier this year, i knew where they meant but didn't think it had a name.
Last weekend i heard lads on about a mark called the two by two! Never heard of that either, some guys call the same mark different names just depends where your from i suppose

To save all the "Does it exist or not" The next time anyone in Rutherfords shop ask him how it got its name it's quite a funny story.
Yes fishing marks at marsden were featured in sea angler issue 510 september to October 2014 see pic below.
It's bang in the middle of the black path and camel's Island.

There was a pub on the coast road called the green onion oppisite nth row end more or less or has the sea angler changed the name not far from whitburn village beside horsley hill village lol

Reg the E1 and E2 were/are buses, the green onion must be the roundabout? Saying as we are reminiscing...I went to frenchies the other day and walked past the mounds on the Leas can people remember them being lookout posts, and the one on blacka hills?

They were gun emplacements Jamie, we used to play in them when we were kids, they were all connected to each other by a tunnel, inside was concrete shelves that held the ammunition.

I remember those years ago Davey, plagued by the "Hill Skins" north arm Target in front. I was just reminiscing the other day about another shot this was a raw sewage pipe left of Target near graham sands. I used to hang around all those marks when I was a kid. Anyone know where "daddy drencher" is .... another nickname for a mark, left of Johnson's. Lived at the Hill all my life never heard of it named geographically as "Horsley Hill Village" lance used to live round the corner. Like Jamie said there's marks nicknamed by Anglers all over, its good to fish these new and old and share best practise. "Lott's wife" is a description on the information board when I was out for a 10 miler the other day near Marsden, a well known shot. Learn something new every day as they say :)

Those were the days Lance. When a big easterly would rush in
and send huge plumes of spray up on to the leas through the hole.
