marsden/whitburn photos,low water

cracking pics sless is that the new camera you were talking about the other week?
did you take look at the depth of some of those gullies and holes around the mini marsden rock? deep as fook!

yeah ,i walked down the wherry beach and walked right round to the grotto, walked up the steps and walked back to whitburn for me car

there is no reason why they should have shut the north row ends car park,
there hasnt bee a fall there for ages and there is certainly no massive cracks or holes under it
or i would have took photos of them, its a canny hike round there

Just wondering does or has anyone ever fished any low water marks between the wherry and north row. Have wantrd to have a go for a little while now but unsure of cut off points and how long you could actually get fishing. Ive never ventured past the 3rd bay at marsden.

its long walk from the bays end but you can access from the wherry end on a good tide, 2 hours either side of low water at maximum and thats on the better tides of the year, Very heavy ground and in my opinion better chance of getting fish back over high water because of the higher retrieve angle.
Its still good to get down there on a good tide though and see what your fishing into.
