me first ever bass

belive it or not iv fished on and off for the best part ov 29 years
last night caught me first ever bass iv caught just about everything eles
in the sea but never a bass it was about 2pound i walked
straight up and picked it up and got stabbed in the hand also got nice coalie half an hour later me laddy landed his first bass hope he hasnt got to wait 29 years for his first cod lol was at cambios beach bottom ov the ramp low tide and its the first time iv fished that bit ov the beach

Congratulations on the Bass and yes for some we all seem to get spiked(i think it because we don't catch them that often we forget about the spikes on them) and i don't know about you but mine bled for what seemed like and age.

Well done on your bass, been a long time coming!!! Got some nasty spikes on their pectoral fins and gill covers. Been spikes a few times.lol

Spot on, first one is always nice, well done. I remember my first bass, on Blyth beach around 12 year, it was about 4lb. Couldn't bring myself to knock it on the head though, so back it went.:red::red:
