sloshs are smashing casting reels mate im getting one off the wife for chrimbo(she dont know it yet) plus there great for rough ground me mate had one for years but the fast retrieve can be its worst enemy at times aparantley you keep pumping the rod(sounds dirty
)apposed to keeping the rod still when retreiving to get the line lay right
by the way mate is it a 20 or 30

its the 30 pal, aye everyone says they are good like, few mates swear by them, going flatty bashing tomorra so see how it go's, taking the fixed spool just incase of the dreaded.......!

always scared i'll nest up and thats ma day nackerd so better be safe than f###ked so i always have ma trusty fixedspool in ma bag aswellim getting a 20 i think but long time till chrimbo

ideal theres plenty about like mate just keep your eye out

Looks like a canny set up mate, regarding chuckin to the left, it sounds like you might be realeasing the spool a bit late. If yer OTG then it's just a question of practice from transferring the side swing to overhead at the end of the cast.

cheers, yea it was me first try out with it and both rod and reel are alot different to what iam used to, like you say practice will help, me mates going to come over tomorra and give me a bit lesson on it so that should help, it seems alot faster then i was expecting haha

Your probably casting to the left because your learning to use the multiplier and not casting properly, your probably looking at the horizon, which generally results in the cast going to the left and low.
To stop this from happening, when castiing, look to the sky at roughly a 45 degree angle. This should result in the lead going skyward and straight out, give it a try, it worked for me and my casting is spot on now.
Got an improve your casting DVD you can have if you want/need it mate.

aye gave him a sting but was only a baby one and he was fine the next day!
mind if it had of been an adult!

sounds great mate :thumbup: might help alot, i have been searching youtube ect and the ones on there arnt really that helpfull tbh, what your saying sounds about right, i will try the advice tomorrow like just need some good practice in and as much advice as posible lol
