me new gear

its the 30 pal, aye everyone says they are good like, few mates swear by them, going flatty bashing tomorra so see how it go's, taking the fixed spool just incase of the dreaded.......!

a swopped from fixed spool 2 slo30sh, this year aswell, should`ve done it years ago, spent a few hours on the school field till a had it right. am that pleased with it am getting another. good luck.
 
as andy says look up and where you want your lead to go. lengthen your drop as well as a short drop will make your lead shoot of sidewards :)
 
Nice set up, got a g5 myself and they're cracking rods.:)good luck with the casting. lad selling a slosh20 on seaanglingreports for 40 pound if you after one

had some casting lessons from johny h and saf today, two spot on lads, getting the hang of it now and love it! haha:D
 
Try 4oz bombs first,then five then six,no grippers!!:cool:as the lighter the weight the better to start ,and get sum Lecky tape round ya thumb so you don't get burns if you have to clamp down to stop a nest cohabitating lol as you increase weight lesson the brakes,I now use my slosh with no brakes at all,:D sometimes it does end in tears(literally )spares spools of line is a must when using a multi flyer,Big Dave

had a few hours with a plain 5oz and ive picked it up quite quickly, like i said i wasnt smashing it like, just going to try that bit more everytime i go out untill am comfident enough to blast it everytime :), the reel is set up for the rocks thick heavy line, iam not sure if to respool it or not as st.abbs could be on the cards in the next few weeks!
