Have we any mechanics or fitters out there would like to have a look at my little corsa combi van for me as soon as possible.

Driving through Washington this evening when the blower/heater started blowing cold air, about 15 minutes later although the temperature gauge didn\'t over heat the temperature gauge dropped very quickly and the engine just chucked it. Left it for about a hour, then checked the water, none in, topped it up and it is pi$$ing out from the back of the engine somewhere, hopefully it is a hose or a core plug but I\'m crap with mechanicy bits and pieces.

Need someone to sort it out for me as quick as poss.

cylinder head gasket, take the oil filler cap off the engine and if it looks like a milky chocolate emulsion its yer head gasket

if your lucky, you need a head gasket...if your not...you need an engine!

petrol or diesel?? if its diesel the head will probably need skimming and crack testing as well

water pump housing maybe... could be a core plug if it hasn\'t had enough antifreeze in or a cracked/blown hose

guy in the village here..about 50-70 quid to swap a head gasket

you need a cheap motor marc??
 
I agree with Mark. It could be your head gasket, but not the water pump, because thats at the front. It could also be the hose connections to the heater box.
 
This van is sadly no more.

Core plug at the back of the engine has just gone completley, not even there any more, leaks from the waterpump and another core plug from the left of the engine. Head is also fried. Bugger.

Need a little van Mark to get Lisa\'s gear in, thanks anyway.

not a van, but there\'s an R reg citreon xz, spotless, new clutch, tax test and the like 500 quid,

might part ex the van, or he might even have a motor to drop in yours
