went fishing at the middle bogs last night with a few pals only a few fish caught fifty pence size flatties and one coalie. we found a fish on the beach which we have not seen before confused: my mate will put it on the forum later as i have not got a clue. but it was still good crack better luck next time i think we need the sea to come away

bad luck mate, probably too flat for that mark although whiting and flatties should still show up,it was like a mill pond at 08.00 today

at least your out trying mate, where is the middle bogs, cannot say ive heard of them:red:

half way between seaton sluice and blyth....a stretch of car park runs alongside the road - in the middle there is a set of public conveniences...there is access to the beach from there too ;)

Last time I fished there the level of fishing was the same - better than sitting in the house tho' :D

Hard to tell by the photo, but I would guess it to be a Lumpsucker, which are more commen than people realise from this shore. However it actualy looks more like a 'Puffer fish' which definitely aren't commen to these shores. Like I say though, it isn't easy to tell from the photo. Nice post though and I'm sure the theories will come thick and fast.
Nice one..................BAZACODBASHA

Wasnt a puffer, wrong shape. Cant really tell from the photo(potts is nearly as bad at photography as he is at fishing) but the fish is flat. Its the shape of very large piranah(sp). Now im not saying its a piranah just the same body shape so you dont have to tell me you cant catch them of our shores :):):)
