Passed middle dock this morning, seen a few lads fishing there, was wondering how you get into it with the wired fence all the way along and are you allowed to fish here? There's signs say about trespassing and wat have you but does anyone even check this place out?

i used to fish there. its a good place to fish, but can be dangerous underfoot. can be excellent for specimen whiting in daylight and darkness due to a deep hole that is stretches the length of the longest dock near thye customs house

probably due to the fact its private property and ts got (no tresspassing signs ) on the walls and fences so its against law to trespass.

There are many places that we aint supposed to fish, Shields Pier for instance, everybody knows that you are not meant to be on there but people still fish it when the gates are closed probably because they know that you dont get chucked off. However when it comes to other marks, ie middle dock, smiths etc then it isnt so straight forward, if whoever owns the land sees you then they may get the law and then your out on you ear or worse. By publicising the way you can get in to the mark then that entrance may be blocked. Thats why certain things are done by Private Message, it just lessens the chance of the wrong people seeing what we are doing.
