any ways it seems like it will keep few on here happy its a flounder and not a plaice
cheers phil

No probs phil,
Flounder are smooth both ways, apart from along their lateral line,
Well done on your catch mate! I love catching flounders.
I caught that little Plaice in my previous post yesterday from seaham north pier. Very pretty fish. They tend to steer clear of fresh water and prefer open sea marks usually with a bit of depth and a mixed bottom.
Regards Rocker.

Nee sign Davey, but after the way the fishing turned out a was nearly off meself!! Wer u heading fr home, or did u try somewhere else m8??

I just went home, i would have had a chuck at the rubble but there wasnt enough water there when i left, however the lad who had just been fishing there, had 11 coalies and 2 codlings, the coalies were upto 2lb and the codling were under size.
