well after a drive to the huegh and decideing that it was far too big to try my luck i headed over to the middleton pier got there for 2315 and fished right thru til 0430 using rag and crab sea looked to be dying all te thime i was there anyway the first hour was all weed and as soon as the water got up a bit it all moved else where so i carried on varying the distance between cast just to search out the fish but with no luck finally had my first bite at around 0200 that turned out to be nothing followed by another 4 cracking bites wich also resulted in nothing as the night got on and the wind dropped dramatically the sea seemed to be dropping with it but with no fish by 0430 i decided to call it a night and head home might wait til friday see what its like round near the hueghg hopefully it will of died off enough to allow a good few hours sport
