we headed down to roker about 1ish to find disaster CLOSED!!!!! was looking forward to it aswell as i havent fished roker in years so we headed to sheilds just down from the blocks tried our luck was plenty on the end fishing daylyts plenty coalie pulled up a lad said few mackerel as well so chucked on daylyts nothing wind picked up abit so just before high tide moved was thinking walkway ended up at mill dam which resulted in a flounder for both me and my dad both of the 1.5-2 lb mark two really nice fish really nice day as well was nice to get out.. and sorry no pics

What time were you there mate??? I was there from 4pm til 9pm, had two flounders and a few coalie on the spinner, loads of sprats about...

Was given quite a bit bait by a young lad on the pier the day before so a had a wee sesh there to get it used.

I always ring the resort or port office before heading to Roker pier, been caught out a few times getting there and its closed, numbers are
