it was his first time out and he caught a nice sized coalie!
i caught 2 flounders around 33-36cm

whats with all the flounders there! too many
and crabs there is millions of the little criters:(

any way all fish caught on fresh peeler and also and returned exept the coalie which me mate kept to feed the family :) :D

Well done matey.

I fished there on sunday and had nine fish out, 3 of the nine i kept for tea, 3 flounders, the biggest being 43cms and weighing a tad under 2lb. :)

hahaha agreed they not a nice eating fish taste to sour for my liken
although the 40 cm one was clean and chunky but I didnt take the chance

thanks for the comments lads :)

Unless you've been catching yours on fizzy cola bottles sweets mate flounders do not taste sour. I've ate them from there many a time and had no problems. Propetly filleted them and properly cooked, taste delicious, and more to the point, taste like FISH!! HAHA :D

A lot to learn yet matey :)

His dad's a chef :) we just don't like them, personally it's not the taste that I don't like it's the texture. But yeah they are a fish lol dunno why he describes them as sour lol Lenny.

Got to agree with Lenny on this one, I don't like them either! Best thing you can do is drown them in garlic butter or something to take away their taste! lol :D
