Mini Bait Cast Reel

Lol Alan......I think the \"typical\" comment was directed towards him wasting £ on a reel which is \"less than he expected\", shall we say......when all he had to do was ask......lol

Sods law eh Jonny :o You normally ask advice on the site before you buy any tackle and the once you go it alone it bites you on the arse.

Wait until Chrimbo and put the reel back up for sale, you\'ll probably get your money back ;)

You should reply to Alans PM as well mate. When I first started fishing over there he put me onto some great marks (probably one of THE best bass beaches ;) ;) )

aye cheers lads, you are a great bunch ;)
Rob i really much appreciate your help and hopefully i can return the favour some day mate.

and i appreciate the help off everyone else, thankyou

what PM alan? :P

\"......... i have a blister abouts the size of a golfball on me ball of me foot\"
Never mind, Jonny.......would\'ve been far more painful the other way round, m8..... :o

lmao tony nice one ,just where is that by the way ?

iv e just stuck a masterline spinning rod and a small zebco fixed spool in the free ads for £20 ono as well lol

\"......just where is that by the way ?\"

Not really too sure, Bri.........That\'s wor lasses mission for tonight......find it...... :o :P .......hahahaha

give it a blast jonny you might be pleasantly suprised. I\'ve got a Daiwa baitcaster about the same size and its champion on a small spinning rod, also use an Okuma Nitryx or a daiwa millionaire 6H depending on what I\'m chucking, much much prefer em to fixed spool reels for spinning with now

Got to agree Mark. Although I sometimes use an egg whisk I much prefer the feel of a small multiplyer, especially in the deeper water.
As Mark says Jonny, give it a go and enjoy. It won\'t take long to get used to it mate.

Jim.

thats the problem by thumb wont even fit onto the spool :casstet:

if its balanced and loaded correctly you don\'t need to, got the feel for all of mine now, so just give em some welly, no brake blocks either!

You could try slowing it down with a bit heavy oil or using a slightly thicker line, but I\'d be a bit dubious about about the lack of drag adjustment, a pollack will snap you straight off as it is mate :(

Stick with the fixed spool and let me know which lures you catch on ;) ;)
