Mint but gutted

I no it's not a issue any more because the rod is snapped but cracked rings can be a night mare if missed, 2 years ago I had a mare one night , line was snapping far to easy, I had 4 rings with hair line cracks that wenrt visible to the naked eye. If I drop or clater my rod I check them by lightly running the edge of a razor blade round them .

Really shouldn't rise to it but hey ho. Scotty don't listen listen to the so called proper fisherwomen on here mate just go out and do your thing because some folk just like ****ing in your pint. Just enjoy your fishing and bollocks to the small minded people who have nowt better to do but take the **** mate. Probably shat their under crackers if you confronted them face to face anyway.

I can promise you i wouldnt s##t myself if anyone confronted me face to face. If a story has holes i will say no matter who says it. Nothing against scotty just doesnt add up its nesa forum not nesa storys. I would hope if i came on said i was fishing sheilds pier had moby di on the end lifted it over the wall but the sod fell in the other side i would hope some one would question it

Look mate I'm not gonna get into a slagging match with you but how does it affect you or anyone else, the lads just getting out and enjoying himself for crying out loud. Just leave him be. Like I said I don't want a slagging match, if anything we're similar in that we say what's on our mind but there's a time and a place.

i am not having a slagging match i am just questioning it. And answering your statement saying i would **** myself if someone said it to me in person everything i say on here is what i would say to some ones face. I try my best to help anyone out give praise but if someone is putting a report up for the benefit of the people on this forum that doesnt add up am asking questions. Scotty or anyone else does not need to reply to them. Read back through the story i was just asking questions.

What has happened is that Scotty has posted a report saying that his rod was snapped and also some 30lb line snapped while trying to land fish. Then an inquisition started about his fishing method of using 30lb line for float fishing, why i do not know, boredom I presume.
Scotty then removed the report, again, why I do not know.
Why forum members feel the need to grill others about their catch reports is beyond me, too much time on here and no time fishing.
Maybe Ozzy can explain a bit better as Scotty isn't the best at expressing himself in text.

im on the hunt for pollack tonight, i will be happy if i caught one as big as the ones in the pics ozzy showed me.
 
why are you all being blatant ar*e holes about this, just because he can't express it properly, why would he come on and lie about it, he came on excited to let you's know what happened and you all jump down his throat. he removed it because i said he may as well remove it, save the hassle you're all giving him as i'm gunna get a proper report up tomorrow with pics and full details as i'm busy theneet. "why float fish with 30lb line" etc. what does it matter, he's fishing isn't he??? and if he's catching fish that's more than yous just hammering away on the keyboard.

i'm really considering just not bothering putting it up now because of the reaction he got. might just hoy it on facebook to be honest, let all the "mindless makky bashers" read it instead.
