Mis-cod-ceptions

Another thing to remember is that 90% of fishing tackle is designed to catch anglers! Look, I'm relatively new to this forum, but, prior to moving to Devon in the late 80's I spent a lot of my youth fishing from Seaham (the Blast beaches) all the way north to Eyemouth - you need to get out and fish various marks in all sea conditions, eventually, you will catch, it's a steep learning curve, but having browsed this forum for a while, there is a wealth of knowledge available, bottom line is ASK, most folks will give you an honest answer.

6/0s are for the boat

Never go bigger than 4/0 these days...usually around a 2 or 3/0

fished the Wherry Thursday. To the left seems clear. To the right rocky. Ended up on top of central cliff and only lost one sinker. Mind I blanked as well.

Mick.
