Well done m8, I was on a few days ago and the mackerel were everywhere. Tony has a quick boat and you are fishing very quickly once you leave the quays. I heard a few people didnt turn up last night and had not paid deposits.
I am back on board on tuesday with a few mates hoping for a few nice cod
Not only cost Tony money but eaten into your time also. Last tuesday we we started fishing just after 6. Shame it cut into your time but at least you had fish and plenty of room. Was 12 on the boat for us and many tangles.

I have been on several evening trips on the Mistress twice we went North once South. I would be suprised if we ever travelled more than a few mile from the mouth of the tyne. The last time out I reckon we could see shields pier all through the trip.
In my opinion it is well worth £15, although most fish for mackerel I have seen and heard of a few double figure fish being landed also. It is also a great way to introduce someone to boat fishing, check their sea legs. One of my mates came out convinced he would be sea sick and loved it. He want to book an all day now
