Yes I must admit stevieb is right what's the point,I joined this forum to learn about fishing and to learn where decent local marks are,but no one wants to help anyone on here,i think it's a joke......any fishing report I give will include mark, fish caught and method + bait

I can understand why somw ppl will not share marks. If the angler has put in a lot of time and effort to locate a new mark that produces well he will be reluctant to share it as he has put in the timw and effort etc. He would mot wamt every tom dick and harry to be fishing tje mark and him havimg to go elsewhere. Some people will share via a pm.
Cant say that i agree but i do understand. Try dropping the lad a pm mext time amd he may be willing to divulge a bit info. Gettimg ob his back will make hik share less.

You must see my point tho, whats the point of a picture of a fish on a "shore report"? We all know what they look like, information on marks is pretty crucial to a so called "report"
dont want to know the marks m8 but its good to produce a pic n report cheers

Well i guess its worth putting the area but not the mark but at the end of the day its up you, yeah the site is for getting help and tips etc but if people just logged in and got told everything while others do the hard work of finding fish, i mean like sea troot said if someone has spent years of standing in all types of weather and god knows how many hours trying different marks to find a spot that produces, digging and collecting his own bait and doing a lot of research himself then... isn't that what fishing is all about trial and error you cant expect to just come online to find the fish, get out and get fishing

Can't see anybody wanting to rush out and netting where you fished not after looking at a picture of 2 small fish it wouldn't even cover the cost of travelling down to thier boat let alone starting its engine.

Seems the norm to keep stum about marks that are producing atm, which is a shame.

i think the lads right not to tell people where hes catching fish,like he says,peeler,bass,white worm,its all secret,a report and pic is enough,all i want is a good read not a map,the last thing he wants is to be on the move,eventually find a place thats producing then tel people on here what he caught fish on,the next day hel not be to get on the shot or within a 100yrds of it,just my opinion lads
If you choose to fish a mark, based on an old catch report, on a different tide, you will have little success. How many times have you taken a few fish off a mark, fished it again the next night and blanked? Each to their own, whether you choose to disclose a mark or not. Do agree though a bit pointless starting a thread saying something on the lines of " went fishing last night, caught a 6 pounder". A little info regarding the ground (scaurs/clean beach etc) bait used, and state of tide, would be a big help to some, without revealing the exact location. Just my opinion like

You can't do more than mate! Its an open forum so you can post what you like, always impossible to keep everyone happy, especially on here! Personally I just like to see the fish rolling in, thanks for sharing!! I'm counting down to a couple of weeks off at Christmas, ready to dust off the rods after a year away and see if I can find that big one!!!! Tight Lines!
