Matty Burrett called into the van on passing for a bit craic.Said his mate had bagged up on the mackies on the west side of the mull over a wreck so I decided to give it a bash off the shore

Went down to the east side of the Mull with the beachcaster and a team of mackerel flies just before high water.Gave it a good 90 mins and not a touch, its still early mind!!! I do really love fishing those marks but check out the "absolute tip" that some morons had left it in!!!!

I am sure that walk back up is getting steeper by the way :On a more serious note I am stopping putting folk onto the Mull marks as they are getting trashed my numpties/morons.Come on lads, take your trash back up the hill with you.

Well as the topic said I did bag up but not with mackerel as I had hoped but with crap left behind by so called "anglers". To those who know the mark the "pinnacle" was the mark I started to tidy up,loads more work required there I am afraid.Never checked the "wall" or the "flat rock",I am sure they will be a right tip as well.

Why desicrate "gods country" lads

Come on lads, please clean your act up.I am sure it was nobody from this forum but we have all seen this sort of thing!

Cheers for cleaning up John. Chances are that forum users will be causing some of the rubbish, either from here, wsf etc etc, as many people who are now finding marks have heard about them on the forums in the first place. It's a sad truth but NOT all forum members (and I bet not even the majority of forum members) actually give much of a monkeys about rubbish when fishing.

Unfortunately you won't be too far off the mark there Dan. I don't know how many times I have put other peoples rubbish in my bag and put it in the bin, it is a very old story on here now.

One of the things that makes me laugh on forums is, some people actually say it is the local councils fault for not supplying bins that causes the problems in some places. I have lost count of the times that I have picked rubbish up and carried it to the car park and put it in a bin that I have had to pass to get to my car.

I remember the first time I went to the Mull on an organised trip from NESA, there were quite a few of us and when we left there was nothing lying about in the bay we fished and it was never mentioned by anyone, Every one of us made sure it was clean and that included old disposable barbecues and everything.

IF YOU CAN CARRY IT ON YOU CAN CARRY IT BACK OFF.

Jim.

Looking at the majority of the rubbish there, it's beer.....Why would you go and stand on a rock mark and get sloshed?

It's the last thing on my mind when I'm fishing, but the first thing when I get back....Well done for the clean up though Snatcher

Numpties, it's such a beautiful place I don't understand why people don't want to keep it this way. Luckily when I was up over easter I never spotted much rubbish, few empty cans over east tarbet but west tarbet was unusually clean, hopefully some people are starting to clean up after themselves now. Well done on the clean up.

Spot on that, mate.
I think we all need to thank Snatcher for his efforts. Well done mate.

same dickheads that probably throw take away rubish out of the car when finished with it - it boils my p1ss to think that people act like that and think it is ok to leave sh1te for others to pick up.

i always have a bag with me and take the crap home and also pick up others rubbish - some of the worse offenders (except summer macky clowns) are fresh water anglers the sooner all waters ban tins and bottles the better.

well done john on your post and very well done on picking up after others - although you should not have to.

those that drop crap - TAKE A LONG LOOK AT YOURSELF.
