Monday 15/10/12, Groyne and SSP

Decided on a couple of chucks off the Groyne 1st thing, but should of used me loaf and realised tide was far to big, rod got pulled out the stand at one point...Left car at Hotel and walked along to Mark 44, fished the flood with not a touch, couple of other lads there, had nowt either, they went along to Rubble where there were coleys being caught...I headed for the end where a got talking to 2 other sound lads, one pulled in his second ever Cod which giz a glimmer of hope, so after hover sacking him! LOL... I chucked out into channel and ended up with a nice little 2.5.lber, was 2nd last cast taken on scrap rag after Crab, Mussel, Razor and Lug hadnt worked. When I packed up a realised how daft I was for leaving the Car all the way along the Hotel!!! Never again!!!

The codling I caught was 1lb8oz yours more like 3 and half lb.i got a crab aswell.nowt else caught after you left steve.packed up at 8.30 for that long worthwhile walk back.nice meeting you,thanks to the bloke with the cap on for helping me out.cheers
