Frankly I\'ve been disgusted at the comments fired back to me when mentioning this horrendous incident to others! I\'m also a bit concerned at the lack of comment here and elsewhere!

you been buggin wor hoose again ell??

Had a heated discussion with some \'friends\' about it yesterday

In my view theres been too much 19 Illegal imigrantslost their livesworking illegally

rather than 19 people have lost their lives

even the media have been at it. the fact that people have died has become secondary. When the Solway harvester. or the pendeen lifeboat were lost, it was all about the tragedy of lives wasted

Not to be-little those tragedies, all uneccessary loss of life is a tragedy,

when people start to ask why are these peoples lives so sh it they have to travel to the other side of the world to work all hours day and night to get 2 quid for picking a half hundred weight of shellfish in the middle of winter, and who is responsible for making their lives that way in the first place

Absolutley shocking. The gangmasters are making £600 per tonne and paying these guys £1 for a 9 hour shift. We may all have our opinions on illegal immigrants but what happened there was shameful. They\'d been abandoned by those they trusted!!!!

I agree :( . I work with chinese from time to time and the stories are horrific from that country . They execute your father and send the family the bill for the bullet ( thats no bull either :o ).

Talk about Iraq - Saddam was a pussy cat compared to them B.......ds.

It\'s a sad reflection on Blairs new world when that sort of exploitation can happen right under their noses .

\"I\'m also a bit concerned at the lack of comment here and elsewhere! \"

Ian, I had pondered for ages about posting my feelings on this tragedy - problem was / is - I just couldn\'t find the words to express my sadness and anger over the circumstances of the loss of so many souls.
Maybe next time we eat out at a Chinese restaurant, call for a takeaway, or buy some \"cheap\" bait next time we\'re in our local \"Chinatown\" district - we\'ll wonder about the REAL cost involved.

Thing is , I for one and I`m sure many others Never Knew this sort of thing (Labour) was going on ................
It`s not a small world after all it`s enormous if this can happen on our doorstep and no-one knows (or cares)
