Moving the reel seat - sonik sk3 ?

Ive just bought a new sk3, How the feck do you move the reel seat ?

Should just slide when you slacken it off unless its different to other ones, it is a sk3 and not a sks isn't it

Yeah its an sk3 5-7 oz, ive slackened it but the thing wont move.

Must be a common thing with these rods as mine was the same when I got it. Nearly took it back to the shop but eventually managed to get it moving just by loosening it and pushing it up and down the rod. Great rod though, I wouldnt part with mine.
