MS Office Product Key

Bought Office Ultimate 2007 when I was a Student and installed it onto my now very dead desktop PC

Still got the disk but have lost the product key email (on dead hard drive)

Have trawled the net and there is no simple answer to this that I can find and no direct route to ask the question of Microsoft.

Anyone know how can I obtain a replacement product key??

long shot but you never know...

Now I've just googled that number and it's come up with lots of threads and posts across various techie forums...which variant Office Suite does this refer to?

is that not the one you've got

it is but there are variants "Pro" "Home & Student" "Ultimate" etc

on the back of googling that number I did find this page which might hold the key (pun intended)

well there is no magic key for these things as the product keys that can be found around the various where-evers are no longer valid unsurprisingly

the answer unfortunately would be to buy brand new or a snide copy

Make sure all emails containing info like this is sent to a web based account. I gave up using outlook for this very reason. I now have a googlemail account that I can access even if the hard drive dies.
